That sounds normal to me. I have seen many men whose erection points upward, some to the point here is lays flat against their stomach, even when they are standing up. It does not seem to interfere with any sexual activity.

I would suggest you explain your concerns to a doctor. If you have a men's health clinic in your area, you might like to see them. I think there is a simple surgical procedure which can rectify this problem. It is usually done at a day clinic and takes between 30 and 60 minutes. It's normal. I remember that when I was younger, a friend of mine (non sexual) showed me his penis and it stood straight up aganist his pelvis and stomach.
