Why doesn’t anyone make a push in sink dishwasher combination? I mean a literal dishwasher that has a built in sink on top. Instead of dropping a sink into a countertop with a basically useless cabinet underneath, and having wasted cabinet space beside the sink with a separate dishwasher.

Can you imagine how well this would work in small kitchens in apartments and New York City condos?

Should I make one and book a trip to Shark Tank?

And for anyone trying to steal this design, this thread is my official claim to the idea.
 
That would be a patent infringement on my Sink-o-Washer. :ROFLMAO:
 
Useless cabinet? But what is more ideal for storing all those tiresome cleaning supplies? I think many use it for small garbage cans. And my mother used that cabinet (which ran pretty deep in that particular house) for storing appliances that didn't work but she couldn't quite face tossing yet.

That said, I could see some real utility value in this for space-tight spaces.

I wonder, though, how much people maintaining apartments would like them. A combination would probably be more expensive, and would probably need replacement regularly, as the dishwashers aren't exactly a lifetime investment these days.
 
Just think of the ease of clearing a clog. Instead of laying on your back under the sink you simple pull out the unit, open an access door and clear out the built in trap.

Hell, the deluxe model could even have a built in water filter with instant hot water feature since the dishwasher would already have the heater element.
 
Actually mine also can use the waste water from the sink to do the first wash cycle below.
 
In 1990 I had the idea of a brake light system that would react differently depending on how you were braking. The intensity would change with how hard you were braking, and they’d rapidly flash if you were braking hard enough to activate the anti-lock brakes.

I was told it was the stupidest idea ever. Ever hear of BMWs dynamic brake lights ? 🤬

It's an interesting concept. I can see a modular design with a double sink above, preferably not cast iron or cerramic, ovrer a double-wide dishwasher with two slide-out racks at the same level. The sink unlocks and lifts off, with the faucet remaining behind on the wall. The modular nature increases its value not only for style variations but for transportation and carrying up stairs for retrofits.

Great idea.

NYC apartments are famous for never having enough cabinet/closet space. Most people use laundromats or a laundry service.

I'd rather have one of those washer/dryer combos, although I've heard they don't work that well.
