She's probably a lot more accepting than you may give her credit for - some times kids have this inbuilt acceptance device: They see, they acknowledge and they accept.

Then usually bring it up at a family gathering/party (in my experience)
 
For what it's worth, Gery, my friend's kids (late teens, early 20s) were intrigued, but very accepting, when they found out that me and him slept together occasionally. His daughter asked him, 'Do you like kiss him, and stuff', he said, 'Yes ...and stuff', to which she replied, 'Cool, go for it dad'.

To be fair, they've known me their whole lives because I babysat them a lot when they were tiny. They've also known I was gay since they were very young, and they've known their dad was (potentially) bi for years.

It is a credit to you that you have such an understanding and mature daughter. And she is lucky to have such a cool and sensitive Dad. (*8*).

I had often wondered what the Narny was and was under the impression that she was a misspelled gravy spitter. Now I know better, thanks.
 
i have to make this comment:

i remember you mentioning your daughter twice in the past and every single time i have to smile. the relationship that you the two of you have is so strange and so delightful.

i can't even begin to imagine having anything close to the kind of rapport you and your daughter have between me and my parents. :)

Congratualtions on finding someone, and from this and previous posts your daughter seems very sensible. I would just add, as the son of a single mother, who had intermitant relationships, that it can be intimidating as a child, and I was never worried about the sex aspect (quite frankly the less I thought about that the better!) but there is suddenly another important person in your parents life, how do they fit in? are they going to move in? What happens to me? etc etc, now the answers to these and a million other questions may be very obvious to you and also you think your daughter, but she is only 15, and even grown up type 15 year olds are only children, and she will have questions I am sure (of this nature not about sex), but my own experience is that I did not want to initate the dicussion.

So is there a way you could talk about this and let her ask any questions she may have? Maybe she won't have anything she wants to ask at the moment, but at least she knows the topic is open to discussion.

I hope you understand what I am trying to say, although I add my experience was a straight mother, so 180 degrees diffeent to you both.

I was thinking that she was probably disappointed that nothing happened between you two. She was probably happy for you.

I think your daughter is fortunate to have such a good and honest father and it seems that you have a great daughter. Good begets Good.

Don't forget every home needs a humidifier...possibly one in each room. (hint,,hint,,,,creates a pleasant ambient noise and is healthy too!!:D :D
