okay, so my balls ended up with this really red itchy place on them the other day maybe 7 days ago. I was putting I think Neosproin on it seemed to help it has went away pretty much but i went swimming in our pool yesterday and last night right before bed my cock and area above it started itching. I was itching so so bad all night worst night of my life i couldn't sleep for it and i don't know if i was scratching in my sleep or what but woke up to pee this morning and the side of my dick behind the head on one side was way way swollen and now has a place on it.
(pretty sure just from the scratching i did )
I was thinking at first its the Chlorine in our pool being to high maybe so i googled what that looks like. It doesn't really look like that... I thought okay Flea bites cause i do have a cat what sleeps with us . I'm not sure but omg the itching won't go away anyone had anything like this?
Ive not had sex with anyone besides my wife so its not a STD or nothing.

I'm thinking it could possibly be ringworm.

google it and see if some of the images resemble what you have.

Ask a doctor.

I had something similar when I was about 18. Turned out it was autoimmune disease that I had.

Until you see your doc, you might try Clotrimazole which should reduce itching better than neosporin.

Have you checked for crabs? You can pick them up anywhere.

Anyway, go to a clinic or some place similar that takes walk-ins so you don't have to wait around for an appointment.

^ Good advice.

Also talk to your partner to make sure she isn't experiencing symptoms as well.

Thanks everyone, My wife has a rash on her stomach but she says its just a heat rash, she gets those pretty often. shes not itching at all.
I took a Benadryl tablet and got some sleep today but woke up still itching. have now used hydrocortisone and Benadryl cream and really nothing is helping with the itching.
The swellen has went down now and it just looks like what it does when you masturbate w/o enough lube. I have done that in the past or had a girl who didn't spit on it while sucking or jacking but i never remember it itching then, just seemed to be sore.
One thing i remembered doing yesterday was wrapping my pool towel around me w/o my swim shorts on. not sure if something was on the towel maybe or just the pool water itself maybe.
We live in the country and have ton of trees around everywhere my mom says she has chigger bites all over her from in the woods. Ive looked those photos up and just nothing seems to look like what mine do.

Some people will develop an allergy to latex. That's one reason it's not a good idea to fall asleep without removing condoms and washing up.

Have you changed brands of condoms or lubricants recently? Toys?

Also, I believe it is rare, but some people will develop an allergy to their own piss and/or sweat.

BTW;

A nasty case of athlete's foot/jock itch (same fungus) will smell foul on your fingers after scratching. Really foul.

It's summer and you're in a really hot and humid area. It's likely to be jock itch (aka tinea cruris). It tends to develop on the scrotum, in the gluteal cleft (between the butt cheeks) and in the folds around the groin.

Tinea cruris is caused by an overgrowth of a normally-occurring fungus that is on your skin. Fungi love three things: moisture, warmth and dead skin. Once it gets going it can be pretty miserable. By the time your skin turns red and gets itchy, the fungus has eaten into the top layers of the skin which is why it leaves a red rash and is miserably itchy.

Try not to scratch. It just makes it worse. Be aggressive in treating it and get into a regimen every Spring to prevent it from coming back.
  1. Moisture: During the day, use a body powder, baby powder or corn starch powder all around the area and in the folds of your groin. Note: there's two types of baby powder: one is talc and the other is corn starch- use the one that is corn starch. If you are outside or doing activity where you get sweaty, reapply the powder and put on dry underwear. Diito if you're swimming- don't keep on a wet swimsuit or try to let it dry on its own- change into dry clothing. If needed, use a fan or blow dryer on cool to dry off the area before you put on clean underwear, including after a shower or bath.
  2. Warmth: If you can, try using a fan to get the area as cool and dry as possible. Avoid overly hot showers and baths because it will just aggravate the itchy feeling.
  3. Dead skin: once the redness is gone, you can prevent future overgrowth by using a washcloth to gently remove dead skin in areas where there's a fold in your skin.

There are over-the-counter anti-fungal creams and sprays that you can use. Clotrimazole cream (brand names: lotrimin, et al) is over-the-counter. I would not recommend the spray until the irritation is gone because the spray burns if you apply it to irritated skin. Once your skin is irritated, it will take a couple of weeks of applying anti-fungals for it to clear up because the skin layers that have been eaten away by the fungus will also heal. However, you should notice that the itchy feeling improves after a few days of treatment with the anti-fungal.

The over-the-counter products are lower strength than what you can get with by prescription, so if it doesn't improve after a few days, then you may need to see your healthcare provider to get a prescription.

Even though fungi are naturally-occurring on human skin, these overgrowths can be transmitted to other people by skin-to-skin contact or by towels/clothing, so until it clears up, change your towel frequently and don't share towels with other people in your household.

No, not changed anything far as i know. we don't use condoms as she can't get pregnant and i'm not able to have children ( i have tried over the years w/o luck)

I got to thinking back, sometimes its hard to think what i did the day before, but after we got out of the pool we came in the house and she gave me a hand job and i remember my cock being a little sensitive after that. felt like she had rubbed it raw a little bit. she normally keeps it wet but maybe cause we had been in the pool and with the chemicals and all it was dryer then norm. it was that night when i started first itching.

Well crazy as it sounds it seemed like i was having a allergic reaction to some Potato chips. I was really enjoying the new Doritos Ketchup chips i had like 2 bags in about 2 weeks and then i couldn't find any, so i went like a week w/o then i found more and i was like eating the heck out of them. that was when i got the rash.
The rash went away while i was out then i got a new bag had some for lunch one day and started itching again right away. Ive not touched them since and no itching..
I have never as far as i can remember had a rash down there from anything. super crazy.

That would be unusual. Typically, food allergies present with rashes on the face, lips and trunk.
