The 2023 Hofele-Design Mercedes GLS is just another overpriced toy, but I'm in love with the Dutch presenter Betim Lushtaku.
His English has improved greatly since I first started following him back in 2018.

Betim used to wear an old grey pinstripe suit that was waay too small, especially the pants - looked like he was gonna bust a seam!
Unfortunately he has a new suit that fits better but doesn't show off his manly bulge. I really miss that old pinstripe suit.

Bulges are misleading, sometimes it just means it's so short it doesn't have any hangtime. My 9" ex never had a bulge, my 6" ex couldn't wear anything without showing a print. If you're a size queen, try before you buy.

God, what a shitshow of glow-worm piping to try (too hard) to stand out from the pack of bad SUV designs.

I don't fault him for being smitten with the status symbol of luxury and power.

Surprised to see an internet pitch guy wearing a suit. Must be part of the snob appeal to keep the formality.

He does look nice. I'll have to go find the other vids.

Betim started wearing suits when he began to review S-class Mercedes and Maybach sedans.
His English has improved to the point that I think he is "acting" his accent on purpose.

I just cringe when I see SUVs, so I cringe a lot.

Most of them are just status symbols for women with little need for a truck.

Of course, they aren't as much as new trucks as status symbols. There's that.

I just got my '95 pickup back from the body shop yesterday. Had to have the roof repainted. Shop owner said Ford used primer in the 90's that was too hard, so paint eventually let go. Of course, it's 27 years old, so not like it didn't last. The truck had 80k miles on it when I bought it in New Mexico, and only 111k now. It's just a plain F-150. You can't imagine the guys pestering me to sell it. What a riot.

My needs are simple. I keep a truck as a work implement, to haul things and such. No fuss. No status. No ego symbol.
