Jack Black goes back to "School of Rock"

Hollywood funnyman Jack Black is going back to school, to star in a sequel to comedy hit School Of Rock.

Black has signed to reprise his role as rock star wannabe-turned-teacher Dewey Finn, in School of Rock 2: America Rocks.

Richard Linklater will take on directing duties for a second time, and a screenplay is being penned by original writer Mike White.

The first film was a box office success, costing just $30 million and taking $131 million worldwide.

i'm going to wait for a trailer before i make up my mind on this one. i really liked the original, but didn't see much room (or need) for a sequel.
