I gotta admit I had a little silly grudge against her for stealing her Oscar (shut up, I know I'm an Oscar queen ), and cuz of that I didn't give her music any chance....

But, her newest single is actually very good

It's really bland. She has a good voice but her musical career has been dull so far.

I hope that after the New Year she's refreshed and ready to support this album.
Hmm...I think that's a little too much to ask for.

I actually adore this song. I love how restrained vocally it is. Everyone expected her to come out and start screaming a la 'And I Am Tellin You'. I think it was more than logical to do something different.

It's a catchy song. I'm so glad it went to Number 1 because I really think it deserved to.

Miss Hudson EARNED that Oscar for her outstanding performance in Dreamgirls

No she didnt.

The actress that played the deaf/mute girl from Babel, Rinko Kikuchi, was robbed.

But you know, karma.

What the hell?
Jennifer's family deserved to die because she acted brilliantly and won an oscar?
That's a terrible thing to say.

Next time you win employee of the month or win a competition lets pray your loved ones aren't massacred because you know, karma.

I think Spotlight is a brilliant song, but I agree with whoever said those covers would've been better.

If by a cover of You Got The Love you mean the Candi Staton song, definitley. And it would have fit so well with her Sex and the City thng as well seeing as it was the song from the final episode of the TV series. Always brings a little tear to my eye...

Wow, if you're insinuating what I think you are, you're in serious need of help.
