What are your thoughts on the movie?

I loved it. 10/10. Best out of the JP movies.

The first one is the best. This one was just ok, it got worse as it went on. The landscapes were cool tho. 6/10

I loved it, too. Chris Pratt is a real favorite of mine and he is so cool. Great effects and storyline. Enjoyed the hell out of it as did the audience in the theater with me. Lots of applause at the end (still don't know why we applaud movies.)

Urgh hated it. It was so dumb. It was just fan service but everything had to be bigger with more explosions.

Jurassic World earns over half a billion worldwide in biggest opening weekend ever. 'Jurassic World' also makes movie history with $204.6 million, second-biggest US opening ever

The colossal debut for "Jurassic World" greatly exceeded the expectations of many Hollywood analysts, who believed the film would make about half as much as it did.

The sexy as hell Chris Pratt is already signed on for a sequel. Definitely my most enjoyable Jurassic Park since the 1st film.

It was just a repeat of the original, with more CGI, bigger dinosaurs, dumber characters, and weaker story. I suppose it was somewhat entertaining. What I liked best about it is that the camera always focused on Pratt's ass or crotch, seriously. That's not really a compliment for a movie where the dinosaurs are the stars.

It sounds like a masterpiece. I'll be watching this epic.

Pretty much sums up why I (and most people) went to see it. Bigger can equate to actually being better. Never really got the hype for the old films, but this was pretty entertaining and a nice update to the original.

""Jurassic World," the fourth film in the series, became the highest global opener of all time with a staggering $511.8 million in its first days in theaters. It also devoured a number of domestic box office records with a $204.6 million take, the Rentrak media-measurement company estimated on Sunday.

In addition to setting a record for 2015, "Jurassic World" is now the second-highest domestic opening of all time, right behind "Marvel's The Avengers" which took in $207.4 million in 2012. By the time Monday actuals roll in, there is a chance the film could dethrone "Avengers.

It is extraordinary. The film has resonated with audiences around the world," said Nick Carpou, Universal's president of domestic distribution. Universal is a division of NBCUniversal."

He looks like he has a dinosaur in his pants.

It was pretty good.

A lot of nods to the original, which shouldn't be surprising. A lot of nostalgia with that. The Raptor stuff wasn't nearly as hokey as I thought it would be. This is the second best in the series.

The first 2/3 of the movie was blah. The final act made my two hours worth it.

i actually thought it would be impossible to do a shittier movie than the 3rd one but this was sooooooo bad

bad actors, bad storyline... the visual side was pretty good

the first one is fantastic

Oh good finally someone else who didn't like it like me :)

I honestly don't know how it got so much of a free pass. It's as dumb as transformers

I've been waiting on this movie for years and I absolutely loved it :D Jurassic Park is one of my favourite franchises and I do even enjoy the shitty sequels in their own way.

JW had a lot of references and homages to JP, but I don't agree with it just being the same movie over again. The 'discussion' about 'de-extinction' and capitalism brought up in the first film has definitely been taken to the next step, and I think the story had a lot more to say this time. I liked that the dinosaurs were portrayed as real animals this time around, and not just relentless killing machines. The 2 lead characters were really interesting too and I would definitely watch a sequel with them in it.

Chris Pratt was amazing. Almost as exciting as the dinosaurs.

Not even including ONE Chris Pratt shirtless scene is really not knowing your female/gay audience there, JW.
