Tell me how you like it as you get used to it! I'm thinking about getting one. I don't know much about the apps myself - one of my friends swears by the IHeartRadio app though, which has an Android version. Depending on your plan, be careful about burning up data usage charges if you use it, though.

"shazam" is a fun app. it analyzes music playing around you and displays the info for you.
"astrid" is my favorite app. It's a virtual "to-do" list, with reminders. It's very simple, but actually quite useful. It packs a widget which makes it even more effective.
pretty much anything made by google... maps, sky maps, translate. just search in marketplace for "google" and see what shows up.

Abduction! Great game, or Abduction World Attack is good if you want to spend money.
Advanced Task Killer, speeds up phone if you do it once a day, go into settings of it and disable 'Auto Kill Level' to stop apps which dont need to be on!
