Has anyone else seen this movie? I saw it the other night, and it was, for lack of a better term, KICKASS!!

I bought the graphic novel yesterday. Can't wait to read it.

My friend wanted to go and watch that movie yesterday, I wasn't so keen...
But we went to G-A-Y and Heaven instead. What a great night out hahaha.

I liked it a great deal. Funny, bloody, and a bit demented. But tons of fun.

Sorry, I have a real issue with Nicholas Cage... I find him to be one of the WORST actors in Hollywood... And I hate anyone associated with that terrible movie Superbad... So I am planning on avoiding this film like the plague.

Take my word for it, the movie is totally KICKASS - full of fun, mayhem, action, blood and is a bloody good time.

Please don't be "that" guy. It's a good movie, despite the two guys mentioned(and really, Nick Cage will shock you).

I was shocked at the violence for once in my life, but hell, i thought it was a great movie. ..|
Though, to be honest, i would drop ONE moment from the movie entirely... (SPOILER AHEAD): the tacked on "love" interest that doesn't even go anywhere at the end... jeez. So unneeded in this film.

The problem is that I am completely biased now though... if I were to go see it I would already be expecting bad acting from Cage and cringing at Mintz-Plasse... In all honesty the movie just doesn't appeal to me... And after my most recent movie theatre experience ( that shitshow Clash of the Titans) I really have no desire to see something I would already be dreading.

I usually hate Nick Cage too, but in this movie he was so cool! He needs to do more movies like this, and stop trying to be a "serious actor", which he just,....isn't.
Hit Girl, by the way, STEALS the movie. I would love to see a prequel showing the origins of her and her father Big Daddy (though they did touch on it briefly in the actual movie).

Read the book first and loved it. I was surprised how loyal it was to the book, although it does stray.

I can't stand Cage either, but I really enjoyed him in this film. It's fun to watch, beautifully filmed and more enetertaining than I had antipated.

I heard it was good. I read it had nudity. Nudity??

The movie was just OK, nothing special. I think most are drawn in by the title, violence and hype. The storyline was weak and a little girl uses the word "cunt", whoopie.

I saw the "Kick Ass" previews many times before it was released...All I needed to see was those teeny-boppers dressed like the people in "Watchmen"......That did it....I had a MAJOR flashback...

I hated "WatchMen" and I'm sure I'd hate "Kick Ass"....

Really wanted to see it because of the trailers and all of the hype about how horrible a role model Hitgirl was and how ultra violent this movie was.....honestly...I found it to be pretty boring and lame. It didn't grab my attention at all...the most I was invested was the end with the "shoot out" at the office. Hitgirl was the best character but from all the talk about her character I would have thought she would be int he movie a lot more. She said cunt one time....what's the big deal? and the violence wasn't that bad...see a lot worse in movies...sure not done by an 11 year old...but whatever. Didn't see the greatness of this movie.

I liked it so much,

I saw it a second time. :gogirl:

I read the graphic novel. And this will be the first time I say it, but the movie was actually better.

95% of the time, the book/graphic novel is better. But not in this case.
