A very good friend of mine has a 7-year-old boy who's the coolest kid, I've pretty much helped raise him since he was born. So like he comes up to me today and goes, "Hey Chris, guess what!"

And I was like, "What?"

And he goes, "My butt smells like roses!"

I about fell over laughing my ass off. I don't know where kids get this stuff from. It certainly wasn't from me! Nicole, his mother, gave me a smirk and I just laughed and I shrugged it off looking innocent.

I didn't do it, I swear O:)

Anybody here have any kids? Or know anyone with kids? They're definitely funny people with the things they come up with.
 
Just adding to say I was just wondering if anyone had any kids, this isn't a weirdo post. I don't want you all thinking I'm strange because I'm talking about kids on a gay site :(

Yeah, they'll drive ya up the wall at times. But the cool thing about this kid is I can give him back to his mother, LOL.

I don't think I'd make a very good father because patience isn't one of my virtues.

A gay friend of mine gets bummed out sometimes because he loves kids, yet knows he'll never have them. He was so desperate for a while that he even tried to talk a female friend of ours into fathering his child.

I feel kinda bad for him.
 
I absolutely LOVE children, I will have children some day, even if I have to move. I love the U.S., but I want things more than just nationality. I love my niece and nephew, and I am the god father of my niece, so I get her if anything happens to her parents, god forbid.

Sorry, I'm just really depressed today and overly sensitive to everything. I get depressed sometimes for no reason. But that's a whole different story. Now I'm rambling off about other boring shit.

Please pay me no mind, I'm just down right now.
 
I love kids and they love me--especially boys! No I am not a pedophile or anything like that. I just like them because they are sooo cool to hang around. I think they help me keep a young attitude! And yes the best part is I can return them to their parents when they get tired and cranky or sick--LOL! There are kids in their 20s that still call me "Uncle Tom" and they still call me for advice on matters they can not discuss with their parents. It really is a special relationship that I would not trade for anything!! Would not trade it for anything!!
 
I have two nephews age 8 and 6. The 8 year old was named after me. I have them at my place almost every weekend. I love them dearly and feel so very lucky to be able to share their life,
 
I have a 4 year old daughter. She's an odd little thing... just like her dad. ;)
 
Awesome, thanks for responding. It's cool some of you have kids of your own or kids in your life from family and/or friends.

What was totally cool about Shane was I was there for the birth. I witnessed it. I was Nicole's coach through the whole thing. Her boyfriend, that she was actually engaged to, decided at about the 6th month of her pregnancy that he didn't wanna be a daddy. So he bailed. She asked me to be her coach in the delivery room and lemme tell ya, it's one of the most awesome things I've ever seen. I have never and WILL never see anything that amazing again. So yeah, he means a lot to me and he looks up to me and is my best bud :)

Chris, you're not weird at all for wanting kids. Being gay should have no bearing on wanting kids or being allowed to have kids. At least that's my opinion. There are guys here who have kids of their own and hopefully more of them will chime in.

Myself, I don't have kids as yet. I love them a whole lot and I hope one day soon I will have my own. I do have a baby niece who was born this past July as well as 2 godchildren. Well, one of them is my goddaughter and I've claimed her baby brother by proxy. And then there are all the little cousins who come up running to me wanting to be picked up and spoiled by their Uncle Dan. Which of course I am all too happy to do. :)

That's really cool. As long as they know they're loved, that's all that matters :)

Maybe we should turn the world over to children. They certainly could not do a job worse then we adults have done. And at least we might have some fun and good times in the process.
