at my gym, only the ones with big penis expose themselves. Pretty much everyone else cover themselves the instant they get out of the shower.

This actually happened to me.

After my shower I was getting dressed by my locker and I see this older guy, probably closeted standing a few feet away facing the wall but with his phone aimed SIDEWAYS with the camera pointing right at me...

Dude that's CRAZY. I think you handled it well. Not sure what I would have done. It's easy to think of what you'd do when you have time to think about it but when it happens? You did about all you could do unless you were 100% certain he took the picture. In that case, grabbing the phone and beating the shit out of him would be in order. So, did you see him actaully delete the picture?

Violence in that case would not have been appropriate.
Though if it were me, and I found he'd made a brief video, I think it would have been appropriate to take his phone, tell him it was my turn to make a video, then throw it in the toilet and record him frantically trying to get it.

In the actual case, if you're ballsy, the suggested violence should have been replaced by announcing to the whole bloody locker room what had just happened, then delivered the phone to the front desk and repeating the recount.
