Marion Cotillard won a most deserved Academy Award because she carries all the weight of the movie in her shoulders. What a brillant actress she is!

Liked it a lot, too. Thought Cotillard was astonishingly good as Piaf and was so stunned when Hollywood was smart enough to award her performance...

This was an excellent film. One of my favorite films of 2007. Marion Cotillard really did deserve her Best Actress Oscar. The life story portrayed in this film was really sad - human but still sad. I actually had never heard of Edith Piaf till I saw the movie but boy - I will never forget her now.
