Lambert the new Mercury?

So there's speculation the Adam Lambert might be the new frontman for Queen.

IMHO, nobody can replace Freddie, but Adam definitely comes close.

adam would be a great replacement, but i actually want him to go his own way for a while.. i'd love to see him do something with 'queen', but i think he needs to establish himself an independent artist and not just a poor-man's freddie mercury..

If anyone says that to me in person, I will smack them so hard their neck will probably snap. This is an insult to the memory of Freddie Mercury. There is no replacement for him. Especially not some talentless little queen like Lambert.

Adam is great

But Adam brings a new style that compliments Freddy's and Queen music.

It would be a great new chapter in Queen and start to give us some great new music.

So I hope it happens even it if is just for a reunion tour sans Freddy. That would be nice to see and hear again

yeah.. maybe 'replacement' is the wrong word, but queen has been performing with different vocalists for years now.. if someone has a problem with them playing without freddie then they need to take it up with the band since they're the ones that seem to be floating the adam lambert idea..
