Late bloomer?

Where you a late bloomer sexually, physically?

Is there anyone who got a hairy chest later on in life (I sure hope so!)?

If you aren’t looking to read stop now and answer the above. Anyway, I want to know who was a late bloomer. I feel like I was sexually stunted as a child. I never found much interest in sex, men or women but now find myself being most interested. I am 21 and almost 22. It is safe to say I am not on par with the trend line. Insecurity about myself and my package (botched circ ftl) really took a toll on my sexual life but for once am starting to deal with it and slowly move on. I almost felt zero sex drive until this year, crazy I know. Dealing with self doubt I feel like a guy would be more willing to understand the stress of a botched circ which has plagued me from the day I realized I my unit was not like the others (and it’s not even that bad). Anyway – are there any other late bloomers – what ever the reason may be? What is your deal, why, when, straight, gay (assuming due to the site).

One of my friends dads which I have known for over ten years had almost no chest hair when I met him and now has a pretty nice patch in the center of his chest (he didn't shave). I have hairy legs, thighs, and bush and slowly getting the hairy arms. I have noticed over the last year the development of the chest hair equiv. Of peach fuzz growing (can’t see it from the mirror but if I look down I can see it). Anyone get a hairy chest later on in life? I would love to hear of some people getting a hairy chest as a late bloomer but I somehow doubt it due to the searches I did. 12-18 and had full chest hair (i am forever jealous). Dad does not have it and all of the moms side men are dead so don’t know if they did or not. Dad has the hairy stomach but not upper chest – I am starting to get the hairy stomach and am my chest is starting to look slightly fuzzy like my stomach did in high school. I am not able to grow a full beard but it is slowly coming in. I would imagine but 24-5 I will be able to rock it in full. Hopefully I will have some sort of chest hair to go along with it.

I’ve come to the realization that I probably won’t get chest hair but even if there is one person out there who did get it late, I would be content. Oh and if I ever have kids someday - they will be uncut and I suggest the same to any of you (if you are having, plan on having, or are adopting young children). The mental punch to the face you take from having a less than normal package is devistating to your self image and self confidence.

I would say that I was a late bloomer, sexually. Like you, it is due to physical insecurities. In fact, I have recently started seeing a new guy and I like him a lot. More than a lot. But the insecurities are still there and are slowing things down more than either of us would like I think.

As for the body hair you talked about, I agree with one of the other answers, that it can develop at any age. But it's also fair to say that it won't happen overnight. However, there are a lot of guys who prefer less hair on their partner - so don't let it worry you too much

You definitely can get hairier as you get older-- the patch in the middle of my chest was not there ten years ago--it's light but I can still "rock it" if I want---of course you can also start developing hair on your shoulders, back, and ears---and there is the dreaded hair loss of which we need not talk---

Hair will continue to strangely appear all over your body beginning in your twenties. Your chest is one of those places- assuming that you come from a family where the men have hairy chests.

As for your low sex drive, you might want to have your testosterone level checked. It sounds like you have normal secondary male characteristics like pubic hair, hairy legs but the absence of sex drive is not typical of someone your age.

If your hormone levels come out normal, then you might want to look into counseling for some of your body image issues.

I didn't start getting hair on my chest until well into my 20's, which is about when the hair on my head started to fall out.

Just wait until your nose and ears start looking like you've got Don King in a headlock or up your hooter!

As for being sexual, it started at about 10 for me. Which is unfortunate because of a galactic size mass of insecurities coupled with psoriasis that developed at about age 15, and has stayed strong since, I don't get to have sex.

Thank God I have a strong right hand and a VERY vivid imagination.

Normal hormone levels - got checked for something else. I had many chances to fool around with both men and woman but for some reason never acted on it (well, once with a friend when I was 11 but I consider that to be the normal I'll show you mine you show me yours bit - wasn't really my thing though...). Now however, I finally want to have some sex!

Call it as you will but I really have little desire to sleep with a man. I love chest hair and thing it makes a man look sexy but more so in the way that I wish I had it. I may actually look into the counseling thing or may go out and just get my fuck on. Either way, thanks for the input - I am jealous of all your hairy chested folks with normal dicks! If you only knew how lucky you all were (or how unlucky you can be, lol).

I am just happy to know that there are other people who were late bloomers. Hopefully I will find myself with somebody I am comfortable with sometime in the future (preferably on the closer side of things).
I have almost no experience being intimate with anyone. Kissing, touching, foreplay, hell - dating. lol - it sort of blows waking up from a coma of sexual dormancy. At the same time, it is a relief!

Oh, I'm 21 and I only have 3 hairs at my left nipple and 5 at the right one (why do men even have nipples? So that trannies don't have to make more surgeries) and I shaved my leg hair when I was 13 because I lost a bet... So there's only some body hair under my pits and pubes.......

Yes, I was a late bloomer. I didn't have pubic hair freshman year of HS even. Now THAT's embarassing. As such, the chest hair came later too.... can't remember when exactly, but it was after 21 I believe. So there's hope. And my sex drive wasn't that high in my late teens either... probably b/c of the late development. So you're probably just a late bloomer is my bet.
