rapper/fluitist (fluotist?) Lizzo released a new song containing the word "spaz" which european fans dragged her for as it's considered a slur. Did she double down and tell everybody to grow a pair and stop being crybabies? No. She apologized and re-recorded the song without the word. Now, I'm no medical expert, but as far as I can tell cutting a word out her vocabulary hasn't caused her any significant medical problems. She didn't lose a limb, she's still able to breathe and walk and she knows what year it is and who's president. Almost like being fucking compassionate and understanding of others doesn't cost a single thing. :confused:

Honestly I have no clue what you are talking about. I know one song from Lizzo and I know the Big energy song from Latto. I know nothing more about them personally or what latto meant/means.

That's her singing rap name Is all I knew.

Her stage name is derived from "mulatto." Basically the n-word for people of mixed race, just as archaic, just as offensive. I thought you were being passive aggressive and cheeky as you have before. My mistake.

Noooo! You never heard of Lizzo? Color me ten different shades of shocked because I'd expect you to be in-the-know as far as black entertainers. I guess this one slipped past your radar? :confused: I'm sure you're just sick about it so lemme bring you up to speed on her accomplishments: Time Magazine Entertainer of the Year 2019, three Grammys, Billboard Music Award, two Soul Train Awards, outspoken activist for LGBTQ, considered by many to be an influential voice in body positivity, feminism and equity, she's a global phenomenon gracing stages in Glastonbury and the BRIT awards, recently performing with Harry Styles. Many are impressed at the physicality of her live performances, considering her size, she usually brings more energy and choreography than girls 1/3 her size who just stand at the microphone in a pair of heels. She tumbles and twirls and dances and sings and plays the flute, all live.

And the accolade to end all accolades, that distinguishes the wheat from the chaffe, collaborated with Prince (you may have heard of him) who doesn't work with just anybody, he's a notorious music snob (who wouldn't forgive me if I didn't mention that he plays 4 instruments) that once kicked Kim Kardashian off his stage for being too stiff. Perhaps her background in classical music from the University of ?Texas? helped pave the way for that honor.

Anyway, she's accomplished beyond the point of needing publicity, but alas I was just mentioning the other day how.... certain demographics don't get their flowers in real time. She's a bonafide star, anything she does from here on out is overtime. If anything, most of her publicity is negative attention about her weight and outspokenness. Been that way her whole career. Shocker, people find it hard to digest a loud black woman.

Harry's growing on me. Not his music but his story. I'm starting to understand how he was exploited and appreciate him seeking his own identity outside of being sexualized as a kid.
