Spring Time in this town means one thing, festival time. We'll have festivals until early fall, and sometimes beyond!
We usually start with the Lilacs and end with the apples, this is New York after tall.
This year the Lilac Festival good some national attention when Martha Stewart visited the park where is usually celebrated. I am not a huge fan of her, but I liked the fact that we got the attention and hopefully more visitors.
It is good for the town to get more visitors and my pottery teachers selling more of their stuff, since the festival circuit is their bread and butter.
I decided to go this year and of course, the day I chose was the coldest and windiest day of the whole festival!
So, no crowds and a mellow walk got me in a good mood. Took some pictures, but I do suck at it. However, the ones I could salvage are located in the Gallery for your enjoyment.
I did buy something and I'm blaming Ray for it!!!
