LOGO Channel

LOGO is OK.
I don't get why they edit language and content though. After all it is a cable or satellite station.
Queer as Folk is edited on LOGO....
Anyone viewing the channel knows it is gay oriented so why edit language.
I watched the excellent movie 'Wilde', on LOGO (story of Oscar Wilde) and it was edited so much that it was almost a 'PG' rating. What's the point?

Over the past year or so I've pretty much tossed LOGO off my list of channels to watch. The content is boring, too much crap.... almost getting to be a lesbian station.
Good gay movies sometimes appear but they are edited, even though they are not porn by any means....

It's not the fact that it's gay content that's making it edited. It's the fact that it's sexual. Yes, it's a gay channel, but they don't want to alienate viewers of any ages. They don't want to be F/X.

You can thank your friends in the fundy religious right for that...

And before long the network's focus seemed to be shifting to about 60% lesbian programming, and 40% gay male. Just reruns of Queer as Folk and a few hit or miss movies targeted towards us lads while there were several lesbian series and films springing up.

You're not seeing the big picture. It's cyclical. Give it a year or two, and it will be back to 50/50 (or maybe 45-45-10 TG), or perhaps even majority (50%) gay male - 35% lesbian and 15% B&Tg combined...

They're currently coming up with the new programming for the next season. Maybe Sunoftheskye can give us some hints about what's churning...
