I'm from there myself. Surprised there aren't more homo bars/clubs out there, given the number of homos. I mean, it kinda sucks having to go into NYC, and working a night life around LIRR schedules: that 2:40 - 5:00 a.m. gap on the Babylon line gap is a frickin' bitch! Weekend nights: you think they'd add a train or two to keep people from driving.

apparently there was some place i rockville centre, rapture, that has queer saturdays, but that was closed.
personally, i think there should be a queer night at the garden city hotel =)
there's definitely money to be made by having a fun queer night at an LI club.

You don't know who does their scheduling: nyc bars/clubs shut down at. Those small hour trains are usually packed.
there should be hourly eastbound local trains on all branches, if only to discourage folks from driving. further, I think those eastbound trains should be free: people should be rewarded for having the good sense not to get behind the wheel.
