Diet and exercise are huge things. Definitely try to go running, or do some sort of aerobic activity. You can't rely on diet alone.

i wish you all the luck in the world i to is trying to loos my weight to and its a lot of work but is well worth it so keep up the good work ..| ..|

It's a bold step forward, for sure.

Keep us posted with update pics, ok?

Damn.. You beat me too it.. I was going to do something similar myself, lol

The best of luck to you though fella.. It can be hard but the results sure seem to be worth it

keep up the good work - it' s tough but worth it - i went from 208 to 166 - two years ago - unfortunately gained 22 lbs - but still in better shape than i was - working on losing it again

keep going...i think everyone supports you to do well we are behind you....hmmmmmm...well we support you....:D

Good luck my man - I gave up smoking last year and gained 25 pounds in 6 months (a small price to pay for giving up the cigs though!!!).

I've recently started a diet/exercise regime so I can totally empathise - but keep at it. I lost nothing in the first three weeks then it started to budge, slowly. I've now lost 21 pounds and I feel great. To be honest, the scales can fool you - I think its not what you weigh but how you feel that's the best measure of success.

I took up hill walking - and the inches just dropped away (interestingly, my cock looks so much bigger - now how about that for motivation!!!)

Good luck!!!

I, too, am trying to loose weight (sort of). I havn't noticed many results, but that doesn't deter me. In a way, i don't mind that my results arent yet visible, because i know that my diet and exercise is at least making me live healthier than if i were slacking off.

Another way to put it is, even if u didnt loose weight so far, imagine the amount of weight you would have gained if you hadn't begun your diet and exercise. I'd probably be a couple of kilos heavier, and thats an achievement im happy to of made.

Keep at it! I just lost over 40 pounds my self so I know that it can be done. It gets discouraging at times but in the end it will pay off!!!

congratulations mate!!!! dont stress if you dont shed every week we hit little blocks and dont loose for a bit then it kicks in again... they say to add muscle as u try to loose weight, increasing muscle tone helps speed up your metabolism...
remember if you had muscle it can add to ur weight so focus on the fat ratios and how ur clothes feel and muscles are....

Goodluck ....

mikethehero, you are a hero for going through this difficult period. You're a hero to yourself for working hard to lose the weight you dislike. And you're a hero to others here on JUB for posting pics of your progress. It's motivational and inspirational! Good work!

And congratulations on losing 10 lbs! It's very exciting to see your hard work of diet and exercise pay off, isn't it? I definitely support you in this and will follow your progress, waving a little victory flag for you every step of the way.

You go, guy!

Hey I found out that the only reason people have an excessive weight (medical reasons don't count) is because of eating habit. It doesn't even matter what do you eat. All counts is HOW MUCH AND HOW.....
Believe me.
You need to adjust the food quantity to your lifestyle.
A lot of kids are forced to eat a lot through their childhood when they are more or less active. When they grow up they are becoming less active, but they keep same eating habits.

Exercising is a good thing, but there are people who are lazy to do something to loose the weight. For them it's easier to loose it by not doing 'something', which would be eating less. Try to control yourself for about a week and you will see how easy it is to control how much you eat and you can keep eating whatever you like by the way...

good going keep up the good work (I do mean weight loss and fantastic photos!)

Just came across this thread and want to say congrats on the weight loss. You can definitely see the difference. Keep up the great work!
