Hey,

I noticed a lump inside my scrotum or under the skin at least. Its at the top in the crease of my leg and sack. Posted pics- it's circled in yellow. Don't mind the pink line- thats just the crease where my scrotum meets my leg lol

Anyone know what it is?

I'm 22 and sexually active, but only have had three partners this year. I don't know if it is some sort of infection, or something tumerous, or just a lymph after reading online. It's hard and about 8mm long by 5mm wide. It's not a pimple or zit because it won't pop. And it's not an ingrown hair because there isn't any pain.

Thanks for your help!

I'm sure it's nothing serious; possibly a cyst or blockage of some sort. My advice is basically what everyone else here who comments in your thread will tell you ... Go to the docs and get it checked out. Don't be embarrassed about it; better to have it seen to and have peace of mind than be constantly anxious and worried about it!

^What he said. Get it checked out. Lack of any pain may make you think "it's not important" but better to sure ...let us know what they find out. You want to do this sooner than later because otherwise it's going to worry you.

doesn't look like something serious, but yeah, get it checked out before it COULD become something serious.

Def get it checked out. Better to be safe then sorry.

it looks like a sebaceous cyst but thats just going by a pic. they may or may not cause pain. if its getting bigger or causes problems follow up with your doc. sometimes you can get it to drain or a hard waxy pug will come out.

You could try a very hot compress several times a day and see if that makes it disappear.

Hey everyone! Went to the doctor (who is quite rude might I add) but she said it was nothing and there are usually harder bits of skin or different textures and the skin is not uniform in that area so nothing to worry about. :) yay!

^Hey, that's good. Just keep on eye on it and if you notice any changes or pain go back. Doctors can be arrogant but the best advice is to ask the hard questions right there in the surgery. They are full of practical knowledge and training and sometimes low on the social graces though results may vary!
