Mac or PC?

simple question. Just wondering if someone stuck a gun to one or the other and forced you to choose, which would you choose?

personally i would go with a mac. :D

I prefer PCs. I use a Mac at the paper and a PC at the bookstore and home.
 
Mac's are fantastic; but NOT the norm......

Of course, I use a PC!

Oh well, I went out and purchased the Beta form of video play-back system when they first come out instead of the VHS system!!! lol

I hate PCs.

They suck.

Slow, riddled with bugs, every program is just a billboard that has some other function like Chat or P2P, susceptible to viruses and spyware.

Counter Intuitive.

Ugly Interface.

If it's not a mac, as far as i'm concerned, it's not a real computer.
 
I like Mac's for the interface but not many games work with Mac's so I stick to PC.

Macs and PCs use the same processors (Intel) nowadays. You can even run Windows on a Mac. So there's no speed difference. In fact Apple generally sells high-end hardware, so Macs are generally faster than your 'average' PC (and they'll cost more than your average PC, but no more expensive than a similarly equipped PC).

Personally, I think any guy that uses Windows should have his Gay Card revoked. ;)

I kid my ex-wife that my switching to a Mac in 2002 put me on the road to becoming gay. (Yes, I'm just kidding)

^^^^ what he said. I made the switch to the other team several years ago and have never been happier. Macs rule.
 
I love the idea of being a Mac person, but I've had so many service problems with Apple products that I just can't afford it.

I had a Mac Powerbook throughout college, and it was riddled with problems. I think it was in the shop more time than it was out. Similarly, I spent far more repairing it than I did on the initial purchase. As for IPODs, I've gone through four in less than three years.

For the last six years, I've had two PCs, and I've never had any problems with them--replacing the first one only because of obsolescence reasons.

And since I have a life, I dont' play games on my computer :gogirl:

And macs are cooler.

and yes.. it comes down to OS. Every PC OS is just a pale copy of a MAC OS.

And macs are still cooler.

(and so are the people who use them.. sorry to point this out, but gamers are just slightly above Trekkies in the Nerd Scale, and one my of best friends works as a game developer... I'm so mean)

Both. I will never have both a perfectly successful career and a perfect partner (it´s not yet too late to have neither) but I can at least afford both a bloody Hp PC and a nifty Mac.
 
I can't afford a new MAC, but I can afford a new PC... so I have a pc ;)
