Mac share of surfers doubles in 8 months

I am very happy for those people, I'm sure they are enjoying the experience. I wonder which browser they use. I prefer Firefox over Safari not least because of the FireFTP plugin.

I'm probably a bit extreme in that I won't have anything microsoft on the mac. I deleted the MS Office trial without even opening it. I do check sites that I make, though, using IE on my pc. Main problem is with webcams that use activex & don't have a java option, they seem to require IE. I have found that Safari handles some font sizes differently from IE & Firefox.

Don't throw your rattles pc addicts I'm just messin with ya ;)

Hmmm, software update is a simple and quick way to upgrade your Safari, OS etc., and to update your Security!!! The latest Safari has many many fixes that you should take advantage of!!!

Any other MAC people tried a new browser called: Shirra? A friend just gave me the URL and it looks sweet! Wil try it later....

Shiira looks awesome. I love the built in RSS support. I don't think you can block ads though (à la AdBlock Plus in Firefox). Hmmmm. Damn it.

Thanks for the heads up! ^_^

This is supposed to be about the OS peeps are using. It is interesting that the former user base on PPC Macs hasn't changed. The 100% increase is coming from new Intel-Mac users. I even went to Safari Helper.app and changed my appearance back to a Mac using Safari. Stand up and be counted. My theory is that Macs stay in service for a much longer period of time that PC's

BTW, I must now declare a conflict of interest because last week I joined the ranks of an Apple shareholder. It has gone up $7.46/share since last Tuesday:-)
