Are you a Mac or a PC? :D

I am a Mac. I love my laptop. When I used to own a PC, it completely sucked. It gave me headaches with its constant problems. Not to mention that it took it three hours to turn on. -_-

Apple is amazing.

I have nothing really against Macs (except for some of the sheepeople) but I prefer my Windows PC. Especially if you work in a corporate business area like me (finance) you will be using a PC.

PC user here because virtually all corporations I've worked for and with use PC. MAC seems to be used more in graphics-intensive businesses.

Both, I like PC for gaming and Mac for surfing the Internet without viruses. Just that I have an older Mac laptop so the videos will play slowly and most of the new websites like Facebook run a bit slow. I am thankful for it I suppose.

Personal Computer is a general term and Macs are PCs too.

It gave me headaches
Not a PC gave you headaches, most probably it was Windows with the hardware manufacturer.

Yeah, you're right. More specifically Windows, but since most PCs run on Windows, it's lumped together and the general consensus.

fashion accessories and toys don't count as serious computers.

My 3 year old Macbook runs faster now than it did when I bought it. Never crashed, never frozen, and never had a blue-screen of death. Never had any malware or spyware.

Some people have great experiences with Windows machines. For people love to constantly customize and tinker with their computers Windows is probably the better choice.

Mac running OS X Lion, Snow Leopard, Windows 7 and Ubuntu here. You may not be able to build the perfect computer with a Mac or for cheap, but you definitely have the capabilities to create an exceptionally versatile machine with an ease of use other computers cannot match.

That said, you CAN build your own computer with great power and capabilities and for less expense than buying a Mac, but in my opinion it's much easier to run your OSs on a Mac. Macs nowadays, especially current versions of the iMac and Mac Pro are starting to catch up to other PCs in terms of their hardware, justifying even better competition.

Once the hardware of non-Mac PCs allows for easier, more simplistic user experience and convenience than Macs, Apple will really really need to give better options for their computers and lower their prices, because they're still lacking in those respects.

Mac all the way. They are so artist/user friendly.

Could you please clarify this? In what way are they more artist/user friendly? Meaning, what are the most notable advantages provided by the Mac that are lacking in a Windows computer? And are you referring strictly to Lion vs the Windows 7 OS, or are there major hardware advantages to the Mac as well?

I never said they were more artist/user friendly. (L2read)

It's all in my personal preference/opinion.

I'm no computer expert. Google gives better answers than from me..
or maybe there's somebody more computer savvy willing to explain?
