So what are we going to see from apple this year

i think there wont be anything on the ipods yet maybe a 32gb flash classic and 16gb iphone

a UMPC running a stripped down version of osx like Microsoft's origami

50/50 on a tablet mac

and coloured i macs specifically blue, red, purple and black

what do i get if i am right

There will be some kind of sub-notebook, that is pretty much a given. Not sure if it will be a tablet.

Also they will announce movie rentals on itunes.

MacWorld is better than my birthday. I wait all day for it, get a big-ass frappucino on the way home. And then watch my eyes glaze over as Steve performs his magic in his signature black t-shirt and blue jeans.

On the serious note, I ain't bothered. Apple's stuff is so damn expensive. Yeah, it looks fancy. But I'd rather buy something easier on my pocket

Hopefully an unlocked iphone that works on 3g networks and can take video clips, is open to 3rd party applications and has a bluetooth capability that is compatible at least with the mac and maybe even with other phones. I feel most of his could be done with a software update. It is such a shame that a beautiful interface is spoiled by its inability to do things that its rivals can and its not for lack of technology, maybe just a cynical way to get folks to upgrade by constantly dangling the carrot.

If its a tablet Mac I will finally make the switch to Mac, but im going with some sub notebook piece of crap, it'll be so like Apple to produce some B-grade wanna be eepc of epic failure levels than something that they'd be good at like a Tablet
