Major Crimes is a spinoff from TV series The Closer also on TNT, starring Kyra Sedgwick (married to Kevin Bacon).

Major Crimes stars Mary McDonnell as Police Captain, Sharon Raydor. Also starring: G.W.Bailey as Lieutenant Louie Provenzam Tony Denison as Detective Andy Flynn, Michael Paul Chann as Detective Mike Tao, Phillip P. Keene as Buzz Watson, Kearran Giovanni as Detective Amy Sykes, Raymond Cruz as Detective Julio Sanchez, Jonathan Del Arco as Dr. Fernando Morales, and Graham Patrick Martin as Rusty Beck (adopted son of Sharon Raydor).

After 6 seasons Major Crimes is going off the air.

This is a very good show on TNT. I am saddened TNT is pulling this show. Rusty Beck plays a gay character on this show. His character studying to be a lawyer.

I like it. Actually it was a continuation of the Closer serious with a change in the name and lead character/actress. I have wondered why Kyra Sedgwick did not continue. It was a great part for her past-her-prime years and the producers wanted to continue.

I am surprised that Kyra Sedgwick never guest starred on Major Crimes. I think they should bring her back for the last episode at the least. The actor who played her husband Fritz on the show, Jon Tenney, was on a few episodes of Major Crimes.

I thought it was strange that they Had Jon Tenney guest starring but not Kyra Sedgwick. Also when he guest starred on Major Crimes, he did not mention her at all.

Even though the show is ending, I am saddened that they killed off Mary McDonnell's character, Sharon Raydor.

I remember in The Closer, Sharon Raydor was a lot nastier and bitchier than she was on Major Crimes. Her and Brenda Johnson(Kyra Sedgwick) as far as their characters did not get along at all.

When Sharon Raydor was spun off on Major Crimes, they softened her character do be more likeable.

I have been watching it including this last year Rust is now getting on my fucking nerves!! (not him personally his character.

I agree somewhat! The Rusty and Gus relationship I wish they took it to another level.

I think the actor who plays Gus is very hot!

This Tuesday is the final 2 episodes of the series. I am going to miss this show very much! I have watched The Closer and Major Crimes, both from the beginning. They are 2 great shows on TV!
