Making a Blog

How do I get or establish a Blog. Is there a Web site group or something that I have to join first? I really do not know anything about them. I have a family member just diagnosed with the first stages of Alzheimer's and I will be the primary caregiver so I want to start keeping a record of what is going on. It cannot be on the JUB site because I will want the rest of the family and friends to have access to it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Other good blogging services are wordpress.com, or blogger.com (which is part of google, now). Just sign up, and away you go!

noelie and teadrinker: Thank you both very much for the information. I went to www.blogspot.com and just like their home page said: It was a easy as 1,2,3. Within about 20 minutes I had created a blog and have even made my first post to it. If I figured out how to do this correct it can be found at: http://www.blogger.com/home. Again thank you both.

Thanks for everyone's help. I guess it takes more than a village to raise a URL. I thought the hard part was going to be making a Blog. But the hardest part was finding it. Thanks.

I don't know about you, but I would make this blog private if it's only meant for your family and relatives anyway. You can set a visitor password somewhere and just have to give it away to people who should be allowed to read the blog.
