I take a shower in a group shower setting almost every day at lunch (since I use my lunch hour to do cardio) and I see guys with wedding bands looking down at my cock. It isn't a long and intense gaze but I have definitely seen them glancing down. What do you think? Do you think all men, regardless of orientation, will scope out another dude (even if in a non-sexual way) when they're naked?

Yes, and it's at least latently sexual. Our culture just doesn't allow for that. For shame.

Yes, but part of it is just comparison - not only to see how they "measure up" in terms of the average man, but to specifically see how they rank among their peers and friends. It's never discussed or anything, it's all covert and silent, and it only takes a 1-second glance at someone to see what they've got, so it can be done quickly and almost without anyone noticing. But it definitely happens. For some men, there can be sexual attraction. But if there's no sexual attraction involved, it's just for the purpose of gathering information or just simple curiosity.

I'm so glad I don't get boners in the shower: there are some seriously gorgeous men with nice cocks that shower there. *|*

It's a big difference between observing the world around you and finding it arousing. So I'd say that intellectual curiosity is not the same as erotic curiosity.

Lets see if Lefty can make another unpopular
post this week.

Hey boys, when a new car drives up don't most
of us check it out bumper to bumper? Who says
you don't look in the Cookie Jar.

If you're diabetic or as a vegan you can't
savor the smell of frying bacon? Come on, even
politicians check out the truth on occasion.

People get curious. The meter runs from say a
base 0 at no interest to say 13 equaling total
obsession.

You think?

^Yeah, but dude at right is lusting after dude at left - look at the come to bed eyes! :p If he were looking down, you might have a point about mere curiosity.

Right. Dick size is important to men, because they use it to determine their social status, and the virility of the competition. Most of the time, they are NOT aroused by what they're seeing.

Yeah, but you don't have to be aroused to have some sexual interest. I do think that MOST men have some degree of bisexual curiosity. Just as MOST women do. I see no reason for the dramatically higher rate of resported female bisexuality other that the current social construct.

After all, at various times in history, for some cultures bisexuality was the norm, not the exception.

That is true Hamwise But,

there is a reason. From the baggins-es of time
and on middle earth as well as beyond, That so
evil Sauron and his Dragon Smaug's progeny
have plagued all womankind with the 'Curse' and
migraines.(not tonight, I have a headache etc)

Those two valiant Warriors, Acetaminophen &
The Pill
, still no miracles) hadn't made the
scene yet. There is still no cure for thatso
infamous '
men-on-pause' or the even more dreaded
' Ring of Entrapment'.

Gandolf knew, asshole buddies are forever. Why do you
think Bilbo and Frodo went so 'far-a-field'?

Men are known to do comparisions cock, muscles, girlfriends, wifes, cars, money, it's in our nature, gay or st.

In studies done the first thing a male looks at when h see a male is his crotch. Must go back to instincts about repro

They're just comparing - in most cases I don't think there's any sexual arousal for them at all. Some gay guys find it very hard to believe that straight men can have no sexual feelings for other men - they seem to think that they must have *some* attraction to guys. Well, I'm a gay guy and I have NO sexual attraction to women. None whatsoever. So I have no trouble believing that some people are 100% gay and some are 100% straight.

Curiousity can be defined in many ways when it comes to straight / bi / gay men staring at another's cock.

In thought; the straight guy is to know whether that person is bigger / smaller than himself. Even flaccid will be enough for him to judge. Not sexual unless he looks and keeps looking until he needs you to get hard before he does.

In thought; the gay / bi guy is to know whether that person will look back and stare / gaze at his cock, too. Being flaccid is not good enough so they stare longer for a semi to erect cock. Sexual in the point of knowing that he has made eye contact, which is what justifies him looking.

Intermale obsession is paramount in guys. A guy always focusses on guys in all ways possible. Even str8s are hardly interested in chicks unless as cock pump and to display her as conquest to his mates so that his mates consider him like an utterly attractive Alphamale. Alphamaledom is core business. You especially see it in gangs where the Alphamale is always worshipped worse than in any gaydom

it is human nature. both men and women are like that and society is only slightly more accepting of women than men in this regards. if we could all just get ove rlabels by now it owuld be much easier and we would all probsbly get more sex. there is probabbly a close to a hundred percant of all humans that are actuly bicurious
