Man holds hostages at Clinton HQ in N.H.

According to that link you gave the situation is over.
Quote Hostage Crisis Ends at Hillary Campaign Office Unquote.
But that clip is a Faux snooze clip, so more lies?

MSNBC is still covering it as it isn't over.

According to Drudge, it's over. Both sides have rushed to blame the other. The guy did it because he listens to talk radio. Hillary put him up to it because it would get her attention.

The truth is this guy most likely has a mental illness called schizophrenia. He believes the government put bugs in his head. People with schizophrenia do not respond to outside stimuli. Just the voices he hears in his own mind.

I'm glad that no one was hurt. Not the staffers, or the cops, or the man who did this. I'm disappointed at the idiots on both sides who made this more than something other than a sick individual acting out. You should all be ashamed of yourselves! But I doubt any of you will.

I found it interesting that both Chris Matthews on MSNBC and Anderson Cooper on CNN seem to give off somewhat subtle, skeptic tones on this situation.

Matthews on Hardball said he felt it was very strange that the Media was told that the police and everyone around town apparently knew who Leeland Eisenberg was. They even commented that another news network was given and reported another name for this guy (Troy Stanley).

Anderson Cooper said on the Situation Room that there have been a ton of rumors circulating around the Media on this whole thing, and that they were not going to report on them to undermine today's event and add further speculation on this situation in New Hampshire.

In a way, at least this incident and the Press Conference afterwards gave the country an opportunity to see how Hillary would respond in a crisis, so that actually worked for her benefit in her campaign. I would have liked to have seen her answer more than 2 questions, but it was understandable when she said she had to rush to New Hampshire to be there for her people.

Nobody was hurt at least.

Are people really playing this as a "Clinton ploy" to get attention???

Wow.

I know I turned on ABC and they said it was over yet the other news channels were still covering it as it were getting worse.

I'm actually seeing a lot of speculation on the net about this.

Reasons people are saying ....

Hillary's lead in the polls have been diminished in the past few weeks, and she was in danger of losing Iowa.

This event just happened to involve a Presidential Candidate. This same candidate ^.

This event just happened to take place in New Hampshire, of all places.

This event just happened to take place in Hillary's Campaign Headquarters.

There were 3 different names given to the Media. Someone on one forum said that the Media interviewed one of the guy's very own family members ... who referred to the guy as "Troy" (Troy Stanley) even though the name now reported on all the networks has been Lee Eisenberg. I have yet to see this confirmed myself. I will be looking for this on You Tube if it is true.

The hostages were all Hillary's very own Campaign Members.

The guy only had flares as a weapon.

Nobody was hurt in the situation.

All hostages were released quickly.

The guy was labeled as a schizophrenic, but apparently did some planning for this. Told his son to "watch the news today."

The Press Release gave Hillary a chance to show the nation how she would respond in a crisis, to give her campaign a boost.

She would get the support from the fellow Democratic candidates.

I don't know, to be honest. It does seem odd that even the Media seemed to give off somewhat subtle seeds of doubt about this on CNN and MSNBC, as I listed above. Meanwhile, FOX's publicity has been nothing but positive. Personally, I'm glad none of Hillary's campaign workers were hurt. But as I said, there is a lot of speculation on the net about this, right now.

The "hostage taker" was called "Troy Stanley" by this kid who said that Mr. Stanley was a close friend of his family's. Yet, we are told by the Media that the "hostage taker's" name is Leeland Eisenberg and that Troy Stanley is an alias.

We're told that the whole town and police department knew "Leeland".

Guess we'll just have to re-hire Ken Starr and start another $70 million investigation.

I think we're going to be adding another post to Hillary's Greatest Hits real soon.

Planting Hostages????

In an attempt to save her candidacy, this may just be the Mother Scandal of Them All.

Perhaps this is the beer talking but you really are a fucking idiot Midnight. Go adjust your tin hat.

It's a small town, people know each other. When faced with a threat are you really sure you'd kno the difference between a road flare and a real homemade weapon?

All the coverage I have seen on CNN has not been laced with the little whispers you are talking about. They were talking about not broadcasting the rumors they'd been hearing around town because they didnt know if they were facts. Also, CNN was in direct contact with the nut case but followed the advice of the police and kept it quiet. That was the info they knew.

Your hate is out of control

Yep. All this just happened in the state of New Hampshire (of all places), at Hillary's Campaign Headquarters (of all places), taking only Hillary's volunteer workers as hostages, contacted CNN several times throughout the day, said to the media that he wanted to physically speak with Hillary Clinton, the guy was unarmed, no hostages we're harmed, and they were released very quickly.

Given all the other crap your candidate has been involved with, and the fact that she was starting to lose her edge in the polls ... I'm sorry for being so skeptical.

You still need to explain what happened with the 2 different names of Troy Stanley and Leeland Eisenberg released to the Media and explain that clip I posted above. You can clearly see that he did not want to be speaking to Carl Cameron, so it can't be like he was looking for his 15 minutes of fame. I heard there are other clips from other family members saying the hostage taker was "Troy Stanley", besides the clip above ... and that they physically spoke to him.

As far as those clips, I have the CNN clip with Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer saved on DVR. As far as the Hardball clip where Matthews was saying that it "seemed pretty interesting that all the townspeople, the police, etc. all knew Leeland, that got erased by the next airing of Hardball later, so I unfortunately don't have it. We'll see if it pops up online.

As I said, I'm glad the hostages were okay, but the timing of all this is very interesting and very suspicious.

Actually, we don't have to explain shit. The news media did exactly what it does in every tense situation...they ran with shit without even checking facts or sources. They were interviewing waitresses before they even spoke to police. They were asking people who they thought it might be. They were reporting rumors of rumors on the local channels. Only the major news channels tried to take it slow. Fox News (local) interviewed a guy who claimed it was someone totally different because his father said it was that guy.

You're just as wacked as that nut case who went into the HQ.

For you it's suspicious because your driven by your hate for her. You WANT it to be a inside job.

What is interesting about them all knowing Leeland? It's a small town! He is the town nut. He's already known for his crazy shit. He made a big deal about the gov't trying to search cars because they sent out flyers. He's the town nut. Of course they are gonna know him.

Jesus...you're insane. You've introduced the boards to another level of your crazy. It's hard to even take you serious anymore.

Matt, like I said, when you have Chris Matthews even smirking on Hardball when everyone in town and the police just happened to know this guy Leeland and Anderson Cooper on CNN saying that there was a lot of talk circulating around the Media that they don't want to report because of speculation with regard to this situation, I'm sorry, but that sounds very suspicious.

I don't hate Hillary Clinton. But I hate corruption in our Government.

Like I said, I'm glad the hostages were okay and unharmed, like I've said all along. That's the important thing.

Or, for once, they could actually be doing their jobs. It's not their job to report on speculation.

But they can run with the facts and report them without checking them?

Anyway, the hostages were unharmed, nobody was killed, nobody detonated anything, and Hillary did a great job at the Press Conferance afterwards addressing the situation to the people of New Hampshire. One of the analysts on MSNBC even said that she sounded "Very Presidential". At least this tells us that she can handle crises well under pressure, and I mean that in a good way.

We'll let the Media sort out what happened with Troy Stanley and Leeland Eisenberg. I know MSNBC took a shot at FOX and called them out on it ... saying that they reported another name.

Are you serious? If they have direct quotes and facts from reliable sources of course they can report them...it's kinda their job.

And again...you critisize the media when you want...chastise other's for doing what the media tells them and now you're puuting weight in what MSNBC says about her performance? MSNBC for fuck's sake.

She didn't sound presidental tonight and Rudy didn't seem presidental on 9/11...they were doing their jobs.

Rudy most definitely wasn't very Presidential on 9/11 and I'm glad Mr. Giuliani, after this week of bad press, can kiss his nomination goodbye.

Being totally serious, I don't think Hillary sounded all that bad in addressing the situation at the Press Conference. She gave a good speech. I would have liked to have seen her answer a few more questions, but I understand she had to get to New Hampshire as quickly as possible to be there for her volunteers.

And for the record, you may accuse me of being a Bush sympathizer, but in reality I think Bush and Cheney should be impeached. 2 Neo Cons that hijacked our Party and these Neo Cons are going down hard at this next election. Christ, they want to impeach Bill over a blowjob, and then they commit an illegal war.
