I'm kinda feeling like im in gay limbo of the average guy here. Diffentily not a twink but still to far from a muscle bear. Do we have a choice on the issue, or are we born into these roles? Women can have larger breasts so can i get more chest hair? Seriously. I'm having a bit of a self confidence issue in my single life right now because of my physical traits. I'm a good looking guy enough yeah but feel like something is missing. Does shaving your body really make hair grow in fuller and darker, cuz right now i have just enough to keep me classified as a mammal, and i hate that! I go to the gym and eat all the time and i'm seeing some improvments wiht that but i was thinking of taking some sort of testosterone amplifier from like GNC or where ever to make the gym time more effective. anyone have any experiences wiht any of these. also considering speaking to my doc to look into some androgel, but no insurance right now so that'll have to wait but anyone have any experiences wiht that? I'm feeling short on some manhood guys!! is it avalible over the counter or is it something your born wiht? oh and i'm pushing 28 if it a time release thing

why the need to find a label that applies 100% to you?
be yourself.

Being manly is not just a body image. You at nearly 28 have developed pretty much as you are going to, except if you keep with the gym routine, you will pack on muscle and tone yourself. Don't even consider steroids or enhancements as they can have rather nasty side effects.

As with many things, humans come in different packaging that covers a wide range of decorations so to speak. Some are smooth all their lives, others have to trim themselves so as to not be shot for a bear wandering through a neighborhood. Genes are what they are and there is not much to be done about it, but accepting of who, what we are and how we look is probably the biggest step towards self contentment as we can do. Manly aspects are driven more by attitude then physical characteristics anyway driven by characteristics of courage, forthrightness and balance in our approach to daily living.

The best fix for you is in your head and not to be found in a bottle, that way there are a lot less unintended consequences to contend with. Best wishes to you.

No, shaving hair does not make it grow back thicker.

If it did, the only bald men on the planet would be so by choice.

Keeping that in mind, I have seen where female to male trans grow hair in places that they never did.

I think that involves testosterone therapy

Take JayHew's advice. Living in one of the most superficial cities ever, I have to say I'm amazed at how few people really understand that concept. Being comfortable with the you that you are is far sexier than some fake physical manifestation.

And no, shaving doesn't affect hair growth... that's an urban legend. And yes, trans do have to use testosterone therapy to grow hair... and you don't want to do that.

This is worth being cast into caligraphy and framed. This can not be said better. Jockboy01, I salute you for a really fine post to this thread. I hope the tread maker takes it to heart.
Thanks.

Oh please- says like 1% of the population. The majority, however, thinks muscled and manly-man is what's REALLY sexy.

Sorry, but the world is superficial, and this guy has all the reason to feel a tad insecure. Don't belittle his very real concerns.

As to the original poster- I'm not an expert on supplementation. What I'd recommend is visiting a nutritionist/dietician and a personal trainer- perhaps a buffing program of some sort?
