Well, it's not quite Spring but it's pretty damn close to it! At last we've managed an all-dry day with plenty of sunshine which somehow makes everything better!
Not much to report really; my parents and Grandma came over to see me today. They were on their way back home after taking Grandma to hospital for a check-up which thankfully went very well. They all liked what Neil and I have done to the house (well Neil really as his decorating skills far out strip mine!!). The dinning room in finished and looks very smart in it's Farrow and Ball "Orangery" colour (which is the colour of Mango Coulis!), the Drawing Room is also finished in F&B Limewold White, with nice subtle green floor to ceiling curtains and two large brown American sofas with lots of co-ordinating cushions with duck-egg blue and green and brown! The downstairs cloakroom is also finished but the name of the colour escapes me...maybe I'll take some pictures and post them in my gallery; that'll be a shock for anyone expecting to see naked men!!
Anyway it's gone 4pm here and I'd better go moving with tonight's meal involving chicken breast and sauté potatoes!
