I thought that this was the universal sign for toilets that every nationality understood; at least it is how they are indicated at airports.
I see no need to change them either.
^ Thank you; I was mislead by the OP.
You are quite right in that reading maps is something I did long ago in my dim distant youth.
I do believe in those days it was marked "WC" on the map. I used to use the maps to find the toilets in each town so that I could go cruising (cottaging). There were no "apps" in those days to tell us where the best places to cruise were; it was a matter of trial and error.
I like the idea of a young David confusing his friends and family by knowing fine details of street plans of most local towns because of you dedicated commitment to cruising. Was it the case that every toilet was at it back in the day or did you have to check each one?
Mrs. Slocombe: One dear old lady customer of mine got a terrible shock. She was caught short and walked straight through the door marked "Herren".
Captain Peacock: You should have directed her to the door marked "Damen".
Mrs. Slocombe: I didn't have time. She saw the word "Her" and was off!
Mr. Grainger: And I'm here to tell you that she won't make the same mistake again.
Why not use pictures of penises and vajayjays?
Have you ever tried drawing a vajayjay?
It's like drawing a skyscraper versus a coal mine :-D :-D :-D
