I planned on "working from home" today after firing off the final version of a proposal.
I figured the rest of the day I could get things ready for our tree planting volunteers on Saturday and do a bit of gardening.
Instead, it started drizzling at about 9am and at 9:10, I had a request from a long standing client organization to prepare a detailed feasibility study and workplan for a project we assisted to start a few years ago before it was interrupted by COVID....
So now I am still at home but actually working on writing the proposal and gathering a team of sub-consultants for different aspects.
Do you ever plan a mental health day and then find yourself neck deep in work anyway instead of goofing off?
