Taking The First Steps
However sad , confused , angry ,scared ,unstable you feel right now , this time i wont tell you to take a deep breath , because that would mean for me to control you . No ! The first step is to take off your shoes and socks and leave them at the door somewhere where you can reach them in the future but not to be in your presence for the moment . Go and wash your feet with warm nice water and keep washing until you feel clean and ready . Dry your feet with a towel and only when your feet are dry , go ahead and walk around the room and tell me what it feels like . Those who have kids ore leave with people who have kids, surely they noticed this : The child takes his/hers first steps barefoot on a comfy platform . It is the best way to learn to walk . This cannot be dismissed ! Also , barefoot means to bare you feet to carry you on this long journey
