Nope, not at all in fact, Mr. "obvious". But as far as you ending it, as long as we're clear about the "supporting anything remotely connected to homo'sexu'ality" thing, which can easily elicit the "anything in the world" phenomenon, "genius" or not (which is where this whole line of debate came from in the first place, if you had been keeping track of your own statements, and didn't think that backpeddling would serve as some kind of retcon). There are so many appearances of GLBTs in television and movies both major and minor, some brilliant, some offensive, and some mediocre so when you say that kind of thing, you imply that they all have GLAAD's "support". There are so many media images and appearances that GLAAD doesn't even bother to make any statment about (and as I've said, that I feel at times they should and don't) period, let alone "supports"...

... so, yes, let's end it there with that understanding in mind, so I don't trip your paranoid sensibilities, picking up my tendency to try "quite hard to instigate an argument".

That shit cracks me up. It's a soap opera and I'm just saying betrayal is betrayal... but to have someone marry you that knows they'll never make you happy makes them a manipulative dick. His being gay doesn't make him a dick, his being a lying, cheating bastard makes him a dick and totally at fault.

Well, I'm willing to forgive his lying if it was expressly done for the purpose of saving his own life. But if anything, it just goes to show how much work needs to be done to combat often life-threatening homophobia, particularly outside of the US.

What about "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry"? And don't even bring up Queer "I start off with 'It's All About Sex' " As Folk. In fact, there used to be a group called Queers Against QaF that protested GLAAD's support for the show.

Oh believe me I sent GLAAD a blistering e-mail about Chuck and Larry. I told them they'd seen my last check.

I liked QAF. (The British version was far superior to the American, though.)

It didn't pretend to be speaking for or potraying every type of gay male.

I like Passions, the stoy line is crazy but thats its charm. Im gonna miss it.
