I notice that in different mirrors i dont look the same. This morning i looked in one mirror and i looked decent but then i looked in another mirror and i looked different. I remember once i looked in a mirror and it put 10 pounds on me and i really filled out i should have bought that mirror lol.

What is my true image, what do other people see when they look at me, is it the image i saw in mirror 1 or the one i saw in mirror 2?

This kind of thing can make a person self concious.

I guess thats why in clueless Cher didnt reply on mirrirs instead she took polaroids to see what she really looked it, i think i am going to have to start taking pictures too instead of looking at mirrors.

I get that too. CountryJohn is right about the lighting of different rooms. Also, I assume that all mirrors are not all exactly flat, but must have a varying degree of convexity or concavity (especially small, portable mirrors), which will make you look slightly thinner or wider.

Yeah I get it as well. I think it's what kind of mirrors you're used to. Like the with the mirrors at home I feel very comfortable cos I'm used to the lighting. However when I go into clothes shops where lighting is as strong as X rays- I swear I'm looking at someone different!

If you're approcaching each mirror with the thought in you're mind that you're hideously deformed, then isn't that what you're likely to see staring back at you?

Life is too short to dwell on each and every imperfection you may or may not have. Take your self worth from something you've achieved, rather than how you look. Sooner or later, we're all going to age so why worry about it while you still have youth on your side?

Dancers tend to have horrid self image problems because they spend all day looking in mirrors. I check to see that I'm put together, but that's about it. And I'm not photogenic at all.

All mirrors are different depending on the thickness of the glass and the way it was manufactured. When you buy a mirror look for a TRUE REFLECTION sticker or read the box for details. And remember you NEVER get to see your real self because everything is in reverse.

Thank GAWD I,m DYSLEXIC......
