.....Another Hollywood celeb is coming out

Ricky Martin recently came out about being a homosexual. Not exactly earth shattering news, but still a commendable act of personal courage for the father of two.

So which Hollywood celebrity is going to come out on May 5?

People Magazine allegedly has the exclusive and the celeb is booked on several major talk shows that week including "The View."

PR powerhouse Howard Bragman, who has successfully -- some might add brilliantly -- orchestrated several celeb outings in the past decade talked about his next coming out project at the GLAAD Media Awards red carpet Sunday (Apr. 17).

Bragman -- the coming out king of Hollywood -- doesn't want to speculate on who it will be (that would kind of ruin his well-planned surprise, wouldn't it) but In the past he's helped NFL defensive lineman Isera Tualo, LPGA star Rosie Jones, WNBA star Sheryl Swoops and retired NBA center John Amaechi come out.

He also orchestrated the plans for former "Party of Five" Mitchell Anderson, "Married with Children" co-star Amanda Bearse and aided Dick Sargent of "Bewitched" fame to come out on Entertainment Tonight.

Most recently, he planned Chaz Bono's announcement of a transition from woman to man and got the news about Meredith Baxter being a lesbian out before tabloids reported her taking a lesbian cruise.

"In Hollywood," Bragman has said, "most publicists keep their clients in the closet. And I'm the guy people tend to come to when they want to come out of the closet."

Bragman made his name founding a major entertainment public-relations firm -- Bragman, Nyman, Cafarelli -- and his new boutique firm is called Fifteen Minutes. Fittingly, his book about Hollywood and celebrity, "Where's my Fifteen Minutes?" even has a chapter dedicated to coming out.

In a sense, Bragman is at war, taking on the entertainment industry to end the perception that a gay actor has to stay in the closet. Bragman believes that times are changing and that we will soon have our first gay Hollywood action hero.

Here's betting Howard will be standing right behind whoever it is.

I'm saying it's Queen Latifah

I say it's Ryan Seacrest...

I don't think so. He still has American Idol to worry about.

I think this person will be some D list. No A-list would come out in this economy.

Is this a hint?

My guess would have to be KEANU REEVES . He hasn't had any hit movies since The Matrix.

Someone just told me he's married and faithful. Sorry, edited my post.
I've always thought he was gay anyway. If it were true, he wouldn't make the announcement right before Ironman 2 came out. It would kill his box office.

sound like a publicity stunt. who schedules a coming out???!!!! im suddenly irrelevant, i know! ill come out!! i think its bull shit, it not a hair cut!! do it for ourself or to be a hero to a little kid (or grown up for that matter) not to collect gift baskets from Joyce and Ellen.....

"I'm saying it's Queen Latifah"

I thought she was already out...don't know why.

How about someone no one expects: Drew Carey

Well okay, maybe not Queen Latifah -- at least I haven't heard she already came out. So, I guess speculation has previously been on Wentworth Miller who will be in the "action hero" type flick, Resident Evil, in a few months. My mind was on Taylor Lautner as well, but....nah don't think he'd do it this early on in his career.

She's spoken about her troubled past before, but has NEVER ONCE been seen with a man, or discussed any boyfriend. She has, however, been seen flirting with female strippers.

If you can have the balls to mention "I was molested", then why can't you mention who you're dating? Straight people don't hide their dates.

His wife and kids were all killed in a car accident, and he's been in therapy ever since and living off of his Muthafuckin' Matrix Money. I doubt he's gay, and he should be left to his peace now.

for some reason i think he has announced that [Robert Downey Jr.] is bi

"A lot of my peer group think I'm an eccentric bisexual, like I may even have an ammonia-filled tentacle or something somewhere on my body. That's okay." - Robert Downey Jr.

He's made a few references to sexuality being a grey area that he's very relaxed with, but he's famous for being a "womanizer" and has never been seen with a dude. He might be bi in spirit, but I highly doubt he's gay.

Can I for one say that "coming out" shouldn't be a motherfucking "project"?

Lex

There has been speculation for some time that James Franco is in the process of coming out, but Jake and Wentworth are also good guesses.
