Mr. & Mrs. Smith - the 2020 version

Something else.

America and society in general need to get over it.

People are always projecting how other people in other relationships SHOULD ACT which reveals to me that they are insecure about something - like why is it any of their business? Why would it concern anyone else what two (or more) consenting adults do and what effect does it have on them anyway?

Love and lust are not mutually exclusive and some of the most honest and evolved human beings know this - but who wants to listen to the purity pack of prudes define them?

I say they are brave to face the judgement they will surely get but I applaud them for doing it. Alot of people DO need to hear what they have to say.

I agree, but they didn't exactly do this because they wanted to. It was somewhat forced by the third party who said he had a relationship with Jada. The story got too big for Pinkett-Smith to squelch, so she brought it to her Red Table show. But it made for great ratings, too. It apparently got a huge number of hits the first 24 hours, and she can't have been unaware of how that would raise her "Q" quotient.

But still: yes, it's their relationship to thrash out, publicly or otherwise, not anyone else's.

I think it can be a teaching moment for alot of different reasons.

If the guy forced it - he gave her an opportunity to own it and a further opportunity to show herself and other people who may need to hear it how important owning your truth is. Her putting it on the table has empowered her. I do believe the truth will always set you free - at least on the inside -

One of the things in my own life experience and noticing friends and and their struggles - when the concept of self love comes up I noticed alot of people try to clean themselves up and be "perfect" first to be worthy of self love.

I advocate the opposite. Love the messy parts first - own them so they don't own you - it is essential to self love so why not start the journey each day by keeping it real

I have never paid alot of attention to them before this but I liked them well enough - but now I am a fan. I just watched it - they are both real people and real adults and have a real relationship and looks like a great friendship.

I thought it was refreshing. ..|

They have my respect.

Jesus all this because they “were on a break” or maybe they do have an open marriage does anyone really care? I don’t.
