Shes even on front page of MTV.com with a HUGE story about whats going on. Go check it out.

I cannot WAIT!!! What do yall think?!

BRITNEYS BACK BITCHHHHHH!

MTV or Britney, neither has been relevant for a looong time.

Hmmmm, I thought she had destroyed any chance of a career. I guess not, who knows, maybe next year.

She probably won't even show up lol or leave like halfway through the song and let the recording keep playing her "live" performance

MTV only puts the most talented of musicians front and center. This has been true since the days of Haircut 100.

Maybe the label had something to do with it? The promoters? Maybe a little cash changed hands?

No, of course not. They just wanted to tell the world about Neurtogena.

Very true. Hard to believe that there are still people out there cheering for this "artist".[-X
Oh well, what can ya do right?

I heard that new "song" of hers.

total garbage. Production sounds like some high school student using Garage Band and her voice is thin and tinny.

The lyrics sound like something an 8th grader could come up with and there's no actual song there.

Her stupid fans will flock to it but they'll get bored fast and that will be that.

Britney will become the next Zsa Zsa Gabor. Famous for doing nothing but being a train-wreck with legs.

I totally agree about MTV. They totally sold-out Janet Jackson [an artist that they dubbed an MTV Icon] because of the Superbowl incident, but then continued to play Justin Timberlake, as if he wasn't apart of it. That's total bullshit if you ask me.

Makes total sense to me. MTV's demographic is the young, hip-to-pseudo-hip folks who'd rather not filter between hype and happening. Janet's an Icon - you know, "old". No problem setting her free. But Timberlake? There still might be some blood left in that stone.

Look.. the Britney come-back will be short-lived.

She's just a tragic train-wreck now and although a few of the ass-hat fans are pretending she's going to have a big comeback, it'll just be a short one.

Her new music is horrible and she's just too far gone to be anything but a joke.

Well just look at her skin color and you will get the idea. You actually think they were going to a choose a black woman over a young white man?? That's not screaming racism.. that's FACT. But that's another issue altogether.

Britney = meh. She will lip sync her way through the entire performance. People will scream, cry, and have heart attacks after seeing her "breathtaking" performance

oh jesus... you with the race card again....

crying wolf as usual....

Not a race card. I'm just stating a fact. You can deny it all you want and act all delusional but that's nothing but the facts. That's one of the "hidden" racism that still exists. Its not in YOUR FACE racism but its there. And its one that will always be there, I don't care what "laws" are present.

Whites and blacks will occasionally be treated differently in some cases or situations, not all, but some. Just as women will be treated in a certain way that is VERY different from how a white male would have been treated if in the same situation.

I do have to agree to an extent but I think in this case it wasn't race so much as an artist who was around for 20 years being unceremoniously shown the door. It was more ageism than racism. Had it been Mya who'd shown her boobs on TV I think the outcome would have been very different.
