Before I came to Jub, I didn't even know what a forum was. Now, with the help of a certain Jubber, I've learned to IM the traditional way, and voice chat and video chat. Tonight I found myself Jubbing, IMing; voice and typing to several, and then taking a phone call. Six months ago just doing one of these would have been challenging. How many of you can multi-task like this with no problem? For me, it's fun but afterward, I'm just worn out!

I did just that last night. I was Iming with a couple of Jubbers and also in a group chat with some straight friends of mine. Sent the wrong message and almost outed myself! I played it off pretty good, though.
 
I used to have to keep a notebook with peoples im name and the info about them so when they would start talking to me i could remember who was who... gee that might just make me a slut lol

Yahoo Messenger has a very helpful "Notes" section under "contact info" on every person on your friends list..........not that i use it......... to keep track of ages................................and keep track of interesting info......​
 
i have no prob with mtasking - i use my comp every day working or for myself.....at home or on the road....

however, i watch ...a leeetle bit too much porn...i could fit another 3 or 4 tasks in that time....

let's see.....flight sim.... market watch.... casino.....

naw...i'd prob just spend more time JUBbing....:wave:
 
ADD people are supposed to be very good at it, but for me the opposite is true. I can't even read and listen to music at the same time.

On the computer I take it as it comes. I've never IM'ed, so that's not an issue.

I guess the closest I come is when I'm chatting on gay.com and people bombard me with windows. I can't bring myself to narrow it down to one, so I'll chat with up to 3 at a time. But that requires some really fast typing (and thinking). One guy will be getting close to shooting while another's just getting started. Confusing...
 
I have no problem multitasking...though it's gotten harder since I went on medication for my ADHD!

I used to be able to have 5, 6, 7 IM conversations simultaneously and keep up with all of them. And I don't just say "lol" or "hmm" all the time either.

Keeping track of them all? No problem. Focusing on just ONE conversation? Very difficult for me, especially when the other person is slow to respond. I tend to wander off and get distracted..."Ooo, shiny!"
