Im completely slumped for music, I want new music just cant think of any good songs I dont already have.

I like Rock, Hard rock, not really into Heavy Heavy Metal, but some Metal and heavy metal is good

^ thats just my main type of music, i do like some rap and hip hop too though

even instrumental and orchestrated music as well as showtunes from musicals.

My favoirte Band Is DragonForce (so no need to suggest any by them)

recently added to my itunes:

Tick Tick Boom - the Hives
Stop and Stare - One Repbulic
Clothes off - Gym Class heroes
Famous - Puddle of Mudd
The Devil went down to Georgia - by Steve Ouimette (the ver. from Guitar Hero 3)

so PLEASE SUGGEST! lol

thanks guys

My favorite bands are

Green Day - The older stuff, American Idiot was good, but if you want the best of Green Day look to their older albums. If you buy CD's (or download torrents) get their International Superhits
I suggest: Basket Case, Longview, Haushinka, Brain Stew

The Libertines
- they are a british rock band, and make amazing music. They are kind of reminiscent of the beatles, but with the Hives and Kaiser Cheifs mixed in.
I suggest: What a Waster, The Man Who Would Be King, Campaign of Hate, Road to Ruin.

Kaiser Chiefs - Another british rock band. Their stuff can be very fast paced, but really good. Really really great sound, definitely a must listen to.
I suggest: Everyday I Love You Less and Less, Oh My God, Highroyds, I Predit a Riot, My Kind of Guy, Thank You Very Much

Across the Universe - If you don't mind musicals than go for. It is a beatles musical that came out recently and all the music is amazing. I really love the Strawberry Fields Forever song and I Want You sequence was perfectly done.
I suggest: all of them

Cold War Kids
- Someone suggested them to me in my "need music" thread and I absolutely love them. They have quickly become my new obsession. A must check out.
I won't suggest anything cause I have only listened to it once.

Led Zeppelin- They are classic hard rock. Really the first Hard rock band to tell the truth. Every modern had rock song you will hear has some influence from them. So you definitely must check them out. You will never hear another voice like Robert Plant's
I suggest: Good Times Bad Times, Dazed and Confused, Communication Breakdown, Since I've Been Loving You, Rock and Roll, When the Levee's Break, Kashmir, Ten Years Gone, Achilles Last Stand, All My Love

The Doors - Another classic rock band. Jim Morrison's voice is so beautiful, deep and powerful. They have very melodic songs that just sound amazing. Great musical direction.
I suggest: Strange Days, Love Me Two Times, Break on Through (to the other side), Waiting For the Sun, Spanish Caravan, When the Music's Over, Hello, I love You, Riders on the Storm, Roadhouse Blues, The Unknown Soldier, The End

and this really is The End

Tyr doing what i do wen i want to download new songs, listen to the radio and see if they play something new that you want the look it up and download it.

Music blogs are an interesting way to peruse for new music and they usually give a bit of an anecdote on the band and their stylings to boot...

BSOTM's been doing a mix series for the past few days with some theming and it links up some other blogs too...

I never did thank you balckwolf...my bad...I did like some of the songs you suggested :)

band you should check out =
Queens Of The Stone Age (their album Songs For The Deaf is, IMO, one of the best rock albums in a long time)

Spoon (get their new album, Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga)

The Killers

I have to agree! But maybe not on The Killers. I really did not like their new album at all, it was just putting the same songs people have with a new title. So, im against The Killers for now because of their evil marketing ploy, but i cannot deny their sound.
