I have to agree with BINOWGAYLATER. I think it is well written and very intriguing, but the hostage requests won't cut it. It's one thing to end a chapter in some sort of cliffhanger to keep our attention, but not to demand information that some may not care to give. If your only purpose is to glean information from other members, then I think the best way is to PM them and give them the opportunity for yea or nay. Most writers on the story forum love sharing their work with us and as BINOW says, that in itself is their reward.

If there is a decent story here - somewhere -- I've lost interest - as I don't feel like being held hostage - for a certain number of responses and/or information -- before you might honor us with another segment --

It's not my impression of what Gay stories forum is all about - to me - it's about sharing something you've written with other like-minded people - and getting some satisfaction from that - whatever it is.

As it was pointed out to me recently - there could and probably are hundreds of people who view the stories, hopefully enjoy them and cannot post comments because they are not registered users here.

Your story has over 1200 hits in a rather short time -

you could be pleased about that - but (to me) you're coming across as an attention whore -- so if you wanna put up - your story - please do so - if you don't - then don't -- Holding a gun to my ribs isn't gonna get the response you want. -- at least not outta me,

i totally agree with BINOWGAYLATER, this story doesn't seem pretty real to me it's like i'm reading a pornographic book. plus on the first part of the story you said

Wait just a penis jacking minute there Mr. WildBeast , as that's an inaccurate portrayal of my spirit. I never demanded personal information about readers in exchange for additional chapters. It would never even have occurred to me to make such an inappropriate demand.

I requested comments only, because that's what it took for me to keep writing. And it was out of my conscious control, in that I had no way to circumvent the nagging need for something of substance to show for my long, grueling marathons of typing with 2 fingers for 10+ hours at a time. Without the positive reinforcement from a lot of readers, the motivation for me to continue writing simply wasn't there. In other words, a high view count simply didn't do anything for me.

And for other writers who experience the same anomaly, they shouldn't be criticized or faulted for disclosing the way they feel. Instead, you should be glad they're giving readers the option to keep the story alive if they like it enough to leave a positive comment. Because this forum gets new readers all the time, and they simply aren't aware that many writers need a LOT of comments in order to be inspired enough to keep writing.

I think by grade 2 - i leared - Please is but a little word....thank you is not long.

so if you find a story hawt - it's a small thing to say - hey - that got me hard - that got me dripping - that got me OFF !! whatever.
