  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

My local gas price is now 1.99. What's yours?

What is Pennsylvania's excuse?

Are they still collecting a finder's fee?:)

A lot of it is that in California we have a different formula for gas much of the year - one that burns cleaner but costs more. I was not here but when you look at Los Angeles in the 70's and see all the smog I don't mind paying more for gas.
Back in the 70's I was a teenager and i remember the Denver metro area was smog filled a lot. As a kid all I was told is that the factories were forced to clean up their exhaust. i don't know if they changed the fuel formula also.

Filled up the tank on Friday. 3.49 a gallon. 4 weeks ago it was 2.99. I get gas out of the city, close to where I work. The gas price a block from my house is 4.49, but that gas station has always been a dollar higher than other places around the city, I often wonder who the hell stops there to get gas?

Yep. They add ethanol to it.
Air here still gets pretty dirty at times.

^close enough, the exact figure would be 6.66232

Anyways filled up the gas tank today the price was 3.67, on March 20th it was 3.49, just 9 days between fillings. My gas tank gives me around 400-425 miles from full to empty.
I am expecting the price to keep going up.

Northwest sub of Chicago. $1.99 here. What's yours?
Why are you asking this? I'm in Los Angeles. I rather have 9 dollars for a gallon of gas than a pedo in the Oval Office who is sending kids to a war for oil while he's having made-to-order omelettes at his golf course at Mar-A-Lago.

My diesel has gone from £1.42 to £1.78 a litre but that is not a problem, still getting 700 miles a tank so it's still cheaper than walking. Don't mind if it goes a lot higher. Anything that makes the orange pig less popular is worth it.
Better to have the slob thrown out of office because of $20 dollar gas than wait for the country to collapse altogether.
We got rid of Boris Johnson and Liz Truss, America you can do the same.
