My nephew

Hi everyone!

As some of you already know, my sister and her fiance have been waiting for their little critter to arrive for the longest time now...and I'm proud to share that their baby boy arrived about a month ago. All 7 pounds and 10 ounces of pure love and innocence came into this world.

It's been a month, but I still can't believe I am an uncle now. It seems a bit surreal and I am so happy for my sister and my soon to be brother-in-law. He and I had never seen eye-to-eye on a lot of things but I'm willing to put it all behind us with our new little addition to the family. My nephew and I will be the closest in age in the immediate family and I hope to be good role model...

Just wanted to share the excitement!

Congrats Derek! I don't think your have to worry about being a good role model...you are a natural. He is lucky to have you as an uncle.
