My Night At The Grammys

I opted to skip it since I've been watching The Grammys every single year since 1980.

And I have every single show on tape since I got a VCR in 1985. :D

There's also a commemorative Grammy book/DVD on the market right now.

the show is so-so .... i wish they would have shown the full performances and not just a small clip.

The only thing that really ticked me off a little...when Mary J. referred to 9/11 as "that World Trade Center thing", she said it like that three times and i sort of rubbed me the wrong way!

Still loved Melissa and Ricky...best performances!
 
How in the hell is that performance the greatest Grammy performance?

Yeah, that was bullshit.

I mean, I really like Green Day, but, c'mon... Better than Aretha, better than Ray Charles, better than Clapton... that's just nonsense.

It was an OK show, really annoying in HD 'cause they had these spinning Grammy awards in the 'margins' of the picture to make up for the 4:3 aspect ratio.... But, I digress.

Seeing Babs with her 70's fro was a trip....
