This morning it was an hour fast. I reset it. I just noticed that now it's a half hour fast. What gives? Any ideas?

if there isn't something fucking with your software clock, probably your bios battery is running low. you can get a new one for like 10$ or so. looks like a big wrist-watch battery, you should be able to spot and replace it easily by yourself

Do you have a program or something running that may sync your clock with something? Windows has a built in utility to do this, it could be that, that is screwing up. Its unlikely it is your BIOS battery, because as long as you don't shut off your computer, your clock will run fine

thanks boys, i guess i'll have to take my pc apart to see if i can locate said offending battery. seems like the easiest place to start, althoug it's been working fine for the past couple of days.

Perhaps you are being sucked into a black hole, FPNY, and your computer is recording the resulting distortions in the space-time continuum....

Does Windows have a fix for that?
