My new purchase that will make my computer much cooler (literally) :P I'm gonna put it on my current setup and use it when I get my i7 at the end of the year (and OC the beans out of it). Every review I read online was positively glowing so I had to get it.

I give you the Zalman CNPS9900 NT! Copper fins plated with nickel and a total surface area of 5400 sq/cm. Six heat pipes carry the heat away from the CPU through the perfectly flat CPU block to the fins. A 12cm low noise fan circulates air around the fins. It is also made for easy installation and removal, as it has to be removed if the PC is transported any farther than the next room.

Now I just have to wait until I get my bonus so I can actually afford to buy my i7 :|

Cool Dude Congrats!!!!! ;) Hope you enjoy your Bonus TOO!!! ;)

I love my PC that I built. It runs on average anywhere from 35-44C. The thing is whisper quiet. Its a quad core so there is no need to overclock at all since most programs dont even utilize it. Windows7 will so I'm happy about that.

I just put a Corsair H50 on my new i7 920. That thing is amazing. The CPU runs literally 25C cooler than with the stock fan from Intel. Idle temp is 23C.

CPU A and B both 35º on my Mac Quad. No aftermarket cooler. CPU fan runs 499 RPM whenever I look at it.

Finally got around to installing it.

My CPU used to idle @ around 35-36ºC, now it idles @ around 24-25ºC. It is also much quieter seeing as the fan on this one runs @ 2000rpm instead of the almost 4000rpm of the fan on the standard Intel heatsink. I also cleared around a ton of dust (a bit of an exaggeration) from inside the chassis, as well as rearranging the cables inside to improve airflow.

Of course, it looks awesome as well :)

My camera's busted so no pics at this stage :(
