Well. I've told a few people in the past that I was gay. Right. We'll I'm now starting to realise who the person I am. I am 20. Its time to find myself and work at alot of things. And my sexuality is one of them. I've told my bro in the past, a few close friends, they took it very very well. I had a party a night before xmas eve, the discussion came up about gay's....

I said to him (leigh) do you have any problem with gays?.
He said to me "no, they can do what ever they please, or do. They are just a normal person like me & you" He goes to me.

Well I said to him what if you had a close friend that who were gay. He then said "I dont care, cause I know they wont crack onto me if they were my friend" Which is totally sweet cause I know deep down I wont ever do that. His too good of a friend anyway and totally straight if you know what I mean. His a man-man, very into his cars and his VB's mate lol.

We managed to talk alone with this chick she was also cool with it. And I go "well I'm gay" And he goes "REALLY" laughing cause he didn't think I was actually that way lol. It was funny. He welcomed me into his life under those circamstances and he said "daniel, thankyou so much for telling me it means so much that you can trust me to tell me that" And I said to him thanks for listening and understanding and caring etc. I said to him just because of this I hope that we don't loose friendship over it etc. And he goes Nah, "I;ve knowen you for too long" lol so that was sweet, for a straight man to say that that was adorable. :). Before we went to bed he came to embrase me and said to me "you had balls, cause I know how tough it can be for gay people out there" and hugged (manly hug) and shook hands..... T'was good :). I find it extrememly easier now coming out to the people who care for you.

I also on xmas eve came out with a few more people. She was totally cool with it, the other chick was SHOCKED off her tits BAD. She then said to me well thats great I dont mind but "I HAVE FEELINGS FOR YOU" and I felt so shit for it etc, but hey we talked thru it and now everything is sweet..

I thought I'd share a few more exeriences that I've gone thru. The next chapter to tell more of my close friends then deeper into with my parents. OH LORD lol..

Cool, I am really happy for you. It is so wonderful to have friends and people close to us to support us. I am so glad that in some ways we are more open to homosexuality. You have a lot of courage.

thanks alot mexamor means alot. thanks for stopping by and reading my little rant haha.. :). Its great to have friends that TRUELY understand you :D

No problem bud. I think that this generation is a very open group of people, I work within a very consrevative community and I find that the high school kids contrary to thier parents beliefs are much more open and accepting of each other (yes mean girls do exist) and i'm glad to see that. If only we parents could get the fuck out of the way. :D

haha dude ya made me laugh about the mean girl topic. I love the new generation. Not as much people are against gay's anymore which is still good, but still afraid to come out if ya know what I mean. It will still take me some time. But I'm making progress which is awesome. I love being myself and seeing my friends being themselves around me not acting all strange just because I told them that I was gay etc. My friends mean the world to me and I am so greatful for that

thanks colemanshs :) thx for reading and taking out the time on posting too :) means alot...

Cheers juno106 :) it feels great each time someone else posts their thoughts it makes it so much easier <3

Congratulations Speedoboi! Sounds like your coming out is going well.

I like your plan on coming out to your friends first and then your parents. If I didn't have my friends when I came out to my folks I would have been a basket case.

Speedoboi,

Congrats on taking the big step and I am glad everything is going well for you ... great story!
