My vote is to say something about your own hard on, and needing a break for a minute. that way you arent calling him out and he can save face if he isnt ready to come out or isnt gay/bi.
 
Sounds like lots of good advice being offered here, man. I think you just need to sort through it all and see what feels right to you.

I will say that a friend of mine told me not long ago that he had his first experience with another guy due to wrestling though. They were on a camping or fishing trip or something and started wrestling around in the tent. Before they knew it, they both ended up hard.
