When I logged into my myspace page today I received this message from Tom saying that it has been phished. So I changed my password and everything seemed OK.

During the day though, I've been on it and sometimes when I click certain links such as friends request or go to post a bulletin the same message saying that I have been phished comes up again. I've changed my password heaps of times now but it keeps happening.

Can anyone help me sort it out and try and fix it for good? Any help would be really great.

Kester.

What browser, what operating system, are you sure you're using the official Myspace-URL, your cock size?

I wonder if you have some keylogging virus on your computer which someone is using. Can't be that easy to guess a completely new password.

Sometimes it helps to have a file from which you can copy and paste a password, instead of typing.

Open up a text editor like notepad, and type out a sentence. Choose randomly several numbers in between 100 and 999 and now type out some non-alpha-numeric characters, like + or _ . Select certain words from that sentence by copy and pasting into a new line. Now select one of the three digit numbers and place one of the non-alphanumerics in.

For instance

It was a hot lazy day when the sun shone and there were no clouds in the sky. 479 921 867 468 109 745 294 + _ -

lazyskysun921+

You can create several so you don't have to think about new ones. Always remember to copy and paste, - best done using your mouse to position the cursor.

Save your work, and change your password in future by copy and pasting the one you chose.

I'm using Windows XP, Internet Explorer and I'm using the official myspace URL.

I just logged in before and everything seemed OK. Then I went to post a bulletin and it said that it had be posted, when I went back to my home page the message from Tom saying that I've been hacked appeared again.

7.5 btw, lol

hmm are there any official news on that phising? i can find anything about another myspace fishing party at the regular it-news websites ..

I don't know if this means anything but I've just noticed that whenever I go to a site like google or yahoo and type something into the search box that I have already searched for it tries to complete whatever I'm typing for me.

I dunno if that makes any sense but it has never done that before and I don't know why it is suddenly doing that.

Computers just suck =(

Somebody tried to hack my account recently, they didn't get into my account because of my password, thank god. But when I tried to log in, they said that my account had been locked for 15 minutes do to a password being typed in wrong more than 5 times or some shit.

Sometimes if you put alot of html in your profile, and you get it from some of those dodgy sites, like pimp my profile, its comes with dodgy stuff with it.

So could be to do with html coding?!?!

Actually, I'm pretty sure Myspace doesn't know if your account has been hacked or not. Only you would know that if weird bulletins or comments started being posted by you. I'd guess that the message is actually trying to phish you. Myspace wouldn't ask you to change your password anywhere else except in "account settings." :)

This program creats the password stores them and all you have to do is remmber one master password the reset is done by the progrma its free easy and your myspace pass will be safe

Ooooh, thanks for that, you could be on to something. So far today everything seems OK. I changed my password by going into account settings and I haven't had any messages like I did yesterday.

Thanks for all your help guys.

hey kester! are you also using some anti-virus / anti-spyware software? If so, update them and run a full scan to make sure that you dont have any threats files that can harm you pc ;)

and about your cock "maintenance"...well, that`s for another section

Yeah, one day I noticed one of my messages in my inbox marked as "Read" and I changed my password immediately in account settings. That seems to stop any hackers. You're welcome for the help!
